Get the Right Wax<\/h2>\n

Before you start applying the wax, you have to make sure that your car is as clean as it can be. You should only apply wax when your car is clean and dry<\/a>. Otherwise, the wax will form clumps with the dirt and will look messy.<\/p>\n

There are certain wax products that allow you to wax your car while it\u2019s still wet. Those claim to give the same results even if you wax your car in rainfall. However, this is hardly necessary and might cause all sorts of complications!<\/p>\n

Wax on, Wax Off<\/h2>\n

Now it\u2019s time to wax your car. Work on a single area of your car at a time, and don\u2019t move to another spot until you are finished waxing.<\/p>\n

If you are using a tub, take your pad or waxing cloth and place a blob the size of your thumb. Apply the wax on your chosen area in brief, circular motions. Try to keep the size of the circles consistent and wax in a single direction to make sure you don\u2019t miss a spot.<\/p>\n

You should aim to apply a thin layer of wax on every exterior metal surface of your car. Avoid waxing headlights and tail lights and plastic components.<\/p>\n

Let it Dry<\/h2>\n

After you have waxed the entire exterior, you should check the spot you waxed first. If you\u2019ve done everything right, the first area should be dry or almost dry by now. Dry wax appears chalky, like a thin layer of white dust.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t mess with the wax while it\u2019s drying. Let it dry completely before removing it.<\/p>\n

Remove the Wax<\/h2>\n

After the wax has completely dried, use a piece of cloth to remove the excess wax from the car. If you\u2019ve done it right, your car should be glossy and shine beneath the chalky excess wax.<\/p>\n
